Mr and Mrs T

Mr & Mrs T approached Amber Heating for help and advice to reduce their fuel costs on their large country house, three cottages, office, studio and party barn.  The whole estate was running on an outdated oil-fired system. After having a geological survey carried out on the property we removed the oil system and replaced it with three EcoForest ground source heat pumps in a central plant room.  The ground loops were installed in the nearby paddock and district heating pipework was installed to distribute heat into the main house and other buildings.

Underfloor heating was installed in the party barn and studio and some of the radiators in the main house and cottages have been upgraded to suit the new system.

Mr & Mrs T have seen a significant reduction in their energy costs and have been very pleased with the efficiency of the system in all areas.

For this project, Amber Heating Limited were a finalist in the 2021 H&V News Awards.
